Traditional Events close

To encourage the ancient art form of wrestling, Safe hands foundation in association had sponsored a wrestling competition at K Hemmanahalli Village, Bhogadi, Mysore 570026 held on 15th April 2015. About 20 pairs of wrestlers took part in the competition .Local politicians like GT Devegowda & others were the chief guests of the competition. It is presided over by mahadev, President of the Wrestlers association. The foundation donated a sum of Rs 20,000/- for the above said function. The competition was huge success and was watched by an enthusiastic crowd of about 15,000 people. The winners were felicitated by the chief guests present.

Enviornment Awareness close

As a part of our environment awareness programme, Volunteers and members of our trust have conducted a programme called Save Tree-save environment. As a part of the programme, efforts were made to save bigger trees by putting concrete around them and also tree guards have been put to hundreds of trees. Saplings were distributed among the general public. These are conducted on various days during Aril-May 2015.

A work ship/Seminar/Kammata was conducted in collaboration with ‘NATANA’, a public charitable Trust working for the benefit of theatre Ar. In those seminars many theatre/Cinema personalities were participated and spoke about the Theater Art, its development. Workshops were conducted and students from various parts of Karnataka participated and got benefitted. B. Jayashashee, Mandya Ramesh, Sundararaj, Devaraj, Anjali Ramanna, Sudha Belavadi, Veena and other experts in the field of theater Art were shared their experiences and provide necessary guidelines to the students.

State Level Dance Programme close

During September 2015, the foundation has conducted a State level dance Programme called MY-Fest 2-15 in collaboration with Mysore school of dance. The same was attended by hundreds of enthusiasists. Prizes were distributed in Sub Junior, Junior, Senior and adult Levels. Through this programme, many local talents were came into light and got an opportunity to go further.

  • 1. As many as 10poor children were felicitated with Rs 500/- each towards their study expenses.
  • 2. 5 heart patients were received free check up at Manaswii Heart Care.
  • 3. Mass feeding took place on 15.8.2015 on the occasion of Independence Day.
  • 4. National Festivals like Ambedkar Jayanthi, Independence Day, Gandhiji Jayanthi were celebrated.
  • 5. On May 1st 10 Pourakarmikas were fecilitaed with Rs. 500/- each.

Sports Eventclose

A District level Shuttle Cock Competition was held at Vontikoppal Club, Mysore Wherein matches were held for different age groups viz., Men's Singles, Women's Singles, Doubles & Mixed Doubles between 07 and 8th March 2015. More than 70 enthusiastic sports lovers participated and the Tournament was a huge success. At the end of the tournament, a lecture was held wherein Mr. John Rodriguez, a sports administrator, and coach from Chennai delivered Lecture on "Sports other than cricket in India", wherein several people participated and shares their views and opinions.

On the occasion of Mahashivarathri, to encourage rural school children, a competition was held wherein traditional local songs competition was held. School Children from K. Hemmanahalli, Hyuilalu, G.B. Saragur, Beerihundi were participated in the program.

Exhibition of Yoga: On this occasion, school children from rural areas participated in the function. Sathyanarayana from Jettihundi, a well known yoga teacher in that area conducted the program and stressed on the importance of Yoga, especially for children.

A Mass Feeding Programmeclose

A Mass Feeding program was conducted on 13.3.2015 at K Hemmanahalli Village wherein about 800 people were fed. Apart from this, our Trust in association with Parivarthana Foundation and Akshara-Ahara Foundation has distributed foods among the poor and needy people. These Foods were collected from various marriage and function halls in and around Mysore.
